Been away on holiday in Spain, so busy catching up on backlog of items/emails etc. I heard about this from a contact at the BBC a few weeks ago, but want to check it out before making this post.

It seems that Age Concern (AC) has teamed up with a number of sponsors to promote IT learning to UK 'Seniors' this week. The BBC story explains (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/5004584.stm) some of the background.

I am sure that all of us would be very interested to here from anyone that attends/uses and of the event on offer. I had tried to get some pre-launch info from AC, but they seemed not to want to respond to my emails.

Anyway, lets see what people say about it.
